Rakuten Group is a well-established company in Japan. It is Japan’s largest eCommerce company and the world’s third-largest eCommerce marketplace company. It provides an ecosystem of consumer and business-centric services, including e-reading, travel, banking, securities, credit cards, online marketing, and professional sports.

In Japanese, the term ‘Rakuten’ refers to ‘Optimism’, which is the core philosophy of Rakuten Group. It offers more than 70 businesses and has 1.7 billion members worldwide, with a local operational presence in more than 30 countries. 

Rakuten Viber, Rakuten Advertising, Rakuten Intelligence, Rakuten kobo, Rakuten TV, and Rakuten KIVI are major Rakuten services. Using different Rakuten services, members can earn Rakuten Points, which they can leverage to avail of other Rakuten services. Work Style 

• Flextime (R-Flex): Employees can decide when to start and finish their work as long as they complete the mandatory work hours.
• Staggered Working Hours (R-Timeshift): Employees not eligible for R-Flex can start their work 2 hours before and complete it 2 hours before. 
• Work from Home (R-Satellite): Employees can work from home in case of pregnancy, child care, illness, caregiving, and injury.
